Privacy Policy — Family Bridge: Co-Parenting
Also available in: ES
Family Bridge is used by separated parents to coordinate custody, communicate, and keep records about their children. That means we do handle personal data — including data about minors — and this page explains exactly what, why, and for how long.
Who we are
Family Bridge is developed by Damian Oliva (Deepyze). The app talks to our own backend at deepyze.com.ar; there is no other company operating this service.
What we collect
Your account. Email address and name, or the credentials returned by Sign in with Apple (if you use Apple's "Hide My Email", we only ever see the relay address). A password hash if you sign up with email.
What you create in the app. Custody schedules and exchanges, messages exchanged with your co-parent, child support and shared-expense records with their receipts, documents you upload (custody agreements, court orders, school and medical records), and photos or files you attach.
Your children's profiles. Name, date of birth, school and, if you choose to add them, medical details such as allergies, medications, doctors and emergency contacts. This is health-related information about a minor: we treat it as the most sensitive data in the app and never use it for anything other than showing it to you and to the co-parent you are linked with.
Location — only when you ask for it. When you confirm arrival at a custody exchange, the app records that location with the check-in. The app does not track your location in the background at any other time.
Device permissions you grant. Camera, photo library, calendar, and contacts are read only when you actively use the feature that needs them. Push notification tokens, so we can notify you about messages, exchanges and payment requests.
Technical data. Crash reports and error diagnostics through Sentry, and purchase status through RevenueCat (which receives the receipt Apple issues plus an anonymous identifier). Neither of them receives your messages, documents, or your children's information.
Who can see your data
- You, on your devices.
- The co-parent you are linked with, for the information the app is designed to share: schedules, messages, expenses, documents and child profiles. This is the purpose of the app — assume that anything you put in a shared area is visible to them.
- Us, only when strictly necessary to operate the service or to investigate a problem you report.
- Our infrastructure providers, as processors: our hosting for the backend and database, Sentry for crash reports, RevenueCat and Apple for purchases, Apple for push delivery.
We do not sell your data, we do not share it with advertisers, and there are no advertising or tracking SDKs in this app.
Messages and records
Messages are stored with a timestamp and cannot be edited or deleted after sending. That is deliberate: the app exists to produce a trustworthy record, and one parent must not be able to rewrite history. Both parents can export the conversation. Keep this in mind before you write something.
Legal requests
If we were legally compelled by a valid court order to produce data, we would comply. You can also export your own records yourself at any time from within the app.
How long we keep it
Your data lives for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account from the app, we delete your personal data and your content from our systems. Content that is shared with your co-parent (a message you sent, an expense you both recorded) remains visible to them as part of their own record — we cannot erase their copy of a shared conversation. Backups roll off within 30 days.
Your rights
Write to us and we will act on it: access a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, or ask us to stop processing it. Account deletion is also available directly in the app, without contacting anyone.
Children
The app is for parents and guardians, not for children — it is not directed at minors and minors do not create accounts. Information about a child is entered by their parent, who is responsible for having the right to share it with the other parent.
Security
Data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and is stored on access-controlled servers. No system is perfect: if a breach ever affects your data, we will tell you.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version is published at this same address with a new date.
