Privacy Policy — Reset — Quit Weed & Cannabis
Also available in: ES
Short version
Reset keeps everything you log on your device. There is no account, no sign-up and no server of ours that stores your records. We never see your quit date, your cravings, your notes or your sleep entries, and we never sell or share your data. What you log leaves your iPhone only if you export a backup yourself.
1. Who we are
Reset ("the app") is developed by Deepyze. This policy explains how the app handles your information. Contact: privacy@deepyze.com.
2. Data stored on your device (not collected by us)
Everything you record lives in a local database on your iPhone and never reaches us:
- Your quit date, clean-day streaks and previous attempts, including relapses
- Your personal reasons for quitting
- Craving entries: time of day, trigger, intensity before and after, outcome and your notes
- Sleep entries: hours, quality, vivid dreams, nightmares, night sweats and your notes
- Consumption and spending details you enter so the app can calculate money saved
- App settings: language, breathing pattern, reminder times, haptics
This information is health-related and sensitive. That is exactly why the app is built without a backend: there is no server-side copy of it to breach, subpoena or sell.
3. Purchases and subscriptions
Subscriptions are processed by Apple. To manage entitlements the app uses RevenueCat, a subscription infrastructure provider. RevenueCat receives a randomly generated, anonymous identifier plus your purchase and receipt information from Apple (which plan you bought, when it renews, whether a trial is active). It does not receive your cravings, notes, sleep entries, quit date or any other content you log in the app.
Apple processes the payment itself. We never see or store your payment details.

- Apple's terms for auto-renewable subscriptions: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
4. What we do not do
- No account, no login, no email required to use the app
- No analytics or tracking SDKs, no advertising, no ad identifiers
- No social feed, no sharing of your progress with other users
- No sale of personal data, and no data brokers
- No profiling and no automated decisions about you
5. Notifications
If you allow them, the app schedules local notifications — reminders, milestones and support messages at times you choose. They are generated on your device by iOS. No push server is involved and no notification content is sent anywhere.
6. Home screen widget
The widget shows your clean-day count on your home screen. It reads that number from a shared container on your own device. Nothing is transmitted.
7. Backups and export
You can export your data as a JSON file and re-import it later. That file is created on demand and goes wherever you send it — Files, iCloud Drive, AirDrop, another app. Once it leaves the app, it is under your control and this policy no longer governs it. The app performs no automatic or background upload of your data.
8. Children
Reset is intended for adults working on their own cannabis use. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
9. Your rights
Because your data never leaves your device, there is no account for us to look up and nothing for us to delete on your behalf. You are always in control:
- To see your data: it is in the app.
- To delete it: delete an entry in the app, or delete the app — removing it removes the local database and any exported backup you did not save elsewhere.
- To move it: use the export function.
If you are in the EU/EEA, UK, California or a similar jurisdiction, the rights those laws grant you (access, deletion, portability, objection) are satisfied by the above, because we hold no personal data about you. For questions about the anonymous purchase data held by RevenueCat, write to privacy@deepyze.com and we will help you with the request.
10. Health and safety
Reset is a self-help tool. It is not medical advice, not a diagnosis and not a treatment, and it does not replace a doctor, a therapist or an addiction service. If you are in crisis, contact a qualified professional or a helpline in your country.
11. Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is published at this address with an updated date. Material changes will also be noted in the app.
